This magnificent wood, Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis) came from old world forests of thousand year old trees, grown on the Western Coast of British Columbia, Canada. commercially logged in the 1890's, these trees were regularly 80ft before their first branch and sometimes grew to 250ft with circumferences of 20ft or more.
Sadly over 3,000 tons of this noble timber are sent to landfills in Britain each day. By using this reclaimed wood you will be taking a step back in time, adding ancient living history to your project.
Available in widths to 9 inches and lenghts to 18ft.
